Illetes at first light, alone
The island's most photographed sandbar by bicycle at six in the morning — the turquoise shallows still, the divi-divi pines casting long shadows, the sandbar entirely yours for the hour before anyone else arrives.

The Caribbean of the Mediterranean — white sand reached by private launch.
The Caribbean of the Mediterranean — white sand reached by private launch. Here is Formentera, arranged privately — browse it by the occasion you're marking, by what moves you, or by the season that suits you best.
What an advisor can open that an algorithm cannot. Each of these is staged on your terms — the access, the timing, the people.

The island's best beach-side chiringuito opened exclusively for your party before the lunch service — the patron's catch of the morning, a paella built for your group, the Mediterranean thirty metres away.

A sunset sail to the Estanys de Formentera — the flamingoes arriving, the salt crystals turning pink in the last light, a table set on the water's edge by your advisor for a dinner no restaurant in the village offers.
Not a package — a starting point. Each is a journey we have designed and refined; your advisor reshapes it for the version only you would recognise.
June and September are the most rewarding months, with warm sea, long days and far fewer day-trippers than the August peak, when ferries from Ibiza bring heavy crowds to Ses Illetes and the beach clubs. The island effectively closes down from late October, so the season runs roughly May through early October. For seclusion, the late-September window is ideal.
Formentera has no airport, so access is by sea from Ibiza; most clients arrive by private yacht or fast launch rather than the public ferry. Forest Travel arranges private transfers and can position a yacht for the crossing and for anchoring off the famous turquoise sandbanks. On the island, accommodation skews toward private villas and a small number of refined boutique properties rather than large resorts.
A private day charter is the essence of Formentera: anchoring off Ses Illetes or Espalmador, swimming in the clear shallows and lunching aboard or at a beach establishment reached by tender. The island's flat terrain also lends itself to private cycling among salt flats and dunes, and sunset at the western tip near the Cap de Barbaria lighthouse is a quiet ritual.
Migjorn and the calmer south, along with the area around Es Pujols and the inland village of Sant Francesc, offer the most appealing villa settings, balancing beach access with privacy. Three to four nights is the usual stay, often as a serene counterpoint to the energy of Ibiza. Many clients treat Formentera as the restful close to a Balearic itinerary.
It pairs almost inseparably with Ibiza, a short crossing away, allowing a few nights of nightlife and dining on Ibiza followed by quieter days on Formentera. For those island-hopping by yacht, the route can extend on to Mallorca; your advisor will sequence the legs around weather and anchorages. Booking villas and yacht crew well ahead is essential, as supply on Formentera is genuinely limited.
Each a starting point — our advisors weave them into a single, seamless journey.
